QuestionI have been dealing with a weird pain in both of my arms when i lay down to sleep. Its a wierd pain it starts out as kind of a chill in my arms then it gets intence and hurts it happens every time i lay down. I went to the emergency room and did a Xray. they said they saw something.Did an MRI of the cervical said negative. What is this that i have. Thank you
AnswerMore than likely Justin it is some type of nerve root compression coming from the neck. The nerves in the arm originate in the neck and exit down the arm. If there is any compression to them as they exit the neck by a spur, disc bulge, herniation or some other type of mechanical compression, a Chiropractor can correct that in short order. They would use towel traction, flexion/distraction and manipulation to make the necessary corrections. Have it checked out and results should be marked in 2 wks.
Good Luck!
