Question05. x 0.5 x 1.0 cm left paracenteral disc sequestration at L5-S1. There is mass effect on the anterior aspect of the thecal sac on the left side with mild canal stenosis. There is mass effect on the left S1 nerve root, which is displaced by approximattely 3 mm.
Question I know at this time I don't have cauda equnia.
could this lead to that, and, is being compressioned some?

Cauda equina syndrome is a medical emergency that needs to be addressed immediately. You would know if you lost bowel or bladder control.
I would recommend that you get a nerve conduction velocity test to measure the amount of neurological compromise.
Leaving pressure on a nerve is not a good thing, it should be decompressed.
Have you heard about spinal decompression?
I have seen patients that have a similar MRI findings do extremely well with spinal decompression treatment.
