i am 35 years old my back pain is ongoing most days of the week going away for a day or maybe two the coming right back i had an mri a year ago and the conclusions were degenerating disc with disc protrusions at T4-5,5-6,6-7,7-8 and moderate kyphosis my question is i am using a generap practice doctor now do i need to see an orthopedic specialist or a chiro or what is the best course to take on receiving help with this condition?

Degenerating discs usually come from excessive back muscle tension.

Kyphosis usually comes from excessive tension of the front trunk muscles.

Neither a GP nor an orthopedist nor a chiropractor can deal with excessive muscular tension, and surgery is not a satisfactory solution, even if available.  You need training to improve control of those muscles so they relax.  That will straighten your posture and take pressure off the discs, so they can heal.
