Question
i was in a bad car wreck aug 10 2010 and i suffer a broke c7 and now ive been in a halo now since then i went last thursday which was oct 21 and we were thinkin i should get it off because the last time i seen him he told me i was healing fine but when i went back on the 21st he told me my healing had stopped for some reason and we couldnt figure out why could you give me some ideas to hopefully to help the healing start again?? and another question is what will i not be able to do after i heal?

 Sorry to hear about your car wreck and the issues following the accident.  Some ideas to help with the healing would be to increase your calcium intake, talk to a nutritionist about other natural sources of vitamins that could increase bone production and healing, talk to your doctor about a bone stimulator.  It's hard to say what you will be able to do after you heal because I don't know what kind of fracture of C7 that you have.  Is it a nondisplaced or displaced fracture?  Has it caused any narrowing of the foraminal openings?  Has it caused you to have spondylothesis?  All of these questions will help to determine what level of activity you will be able to return to.  I hope this helps.
