QuestionI took a hard slip and fall down a short flight of wood stairs about 4 weeks ago. That night I was in such pain, sharp jabs to my lower left back, that it made tears come to my eyes. After a few days it subsided with what feels like I have been punched in the back, and then I didn't notice it only a couple of times when I turned or bent over. Walking I could feel the sharp pains, though not as intense. It has come back again, not as bad as the first time but diffidently slows me down. This accident happened while I was cleaning a clients house and I guess the question is. I earn a living doing home and yard care and as you can know is very physical, I am concerned about the pain interfering with my job, does this seem like something I should have them file a claim with the homeowners Ins?? I am concerned about repercussions, but I am also concerned with not being able to work!

Hi, Carol,
Your better question is, "How can I end this pain?"
You're in spasm.

I can make a program recommendation, if you ask.
Your question about filing a claim with the homeowner's insurance is outside my scope of practice! ~
