QuestionMy husband has been having really bad back pain for over a year now. He will not go to a doctor no matter what I say, he refuses. I am really worried about him, he has had a physical done three years ago but no actual visit or tests done (even blood) since he was a child. He says it feels like spasms in his back and very painful. When this all first started happening there was a day where his back went out and he couldn't move. He just laid in bed stomach down until it went away. Nothing that severe happened after that but I catch him complaining about his back all the time. He never want to see a doctor or even take a 200mg tylenol. I just don't know what to do, I don't know much about back pain so I can't stop wondering if this could turn into something worse. Also he is 30 yrs old and not overweight if that helps any. Thank you for your time.

As to what you can do -- little. It's your husband who has to do the doing. He has to want to, as the solution to back spasms isn't anything someone can do for someone else, but only
