Question6 days after surgery, i lifted and carried grocery bags weighing i would say 25-30 lbs. I'm worried about what damage I may have done. I feel some sensations (dull aching) in my heel, leg, hip, and back on both sides. It's not different feeling then from what I've had before surgery and leading up to the day I carried those bags. I will consult a doctor and physiotherapist, soon. It's been about 30 hours since I carried those bags. How much trouble am I in? What are some things I can do? What are my options as far as therapy go? When carrying the bags I tried my best to keep my trunk rigid. Hopefully, I'll be ok. I understand that it takes weeks and weeks for the nerve to settle down. Any other recommendations you can make? I've been fairly active, walking a lot, standing and sitting often and for prolonged periods. Trying to do the recommended stretches atleast once a day. Should I be doing the sloppy push-up stretch at this point? Hopefully, if I did damage by lifting I can reverse the damage. I'm young so it's hard for me to be not doing things.
