Page 2   For the last 5 months I have a pain in my neck, behind my left ear. My doctor says it is arthirtis. I have done physical therapy, had X-rays, seen chiropractors, been on pain medicine, done exercises and had an MRI.  Nothing seems to help.  The MRI results are attached.  Can you explain this?

Yes. You have very contracted (tight) neck muscles.

You need to recover the ability to relax in your neck. That's accomplished by somatic education exercises that train your muscular control.
