Question
Last year I started the hobby of wood turning.
I also play piano.
In the last 2 months I am experiencing stiffness and pain in the hands and shoulders.
Would the wood turning be contributing to my problem? Re the vibrations from turning and holding the tools.I am prepared to cease the turning but the piano is my emotional escape from the world.

Dear Bill,   It is possible that it is aggrevating the situation and thus causing you more pain....   However, without a proper diagnosis from your doctor and a blood test to check you for Rheumatoid Arthritis, or x-rays to check for osteoarthritis, I can not say for certainty that you have ANY form of arthritis....
