No one understands exactly why RA suffers get symptoms like yours. The simple explanation is that RA is a disease that effects your immune system, especially the lymph system. When the lymph system is not working correctly you feel tired and it can cause flu like symptoms. Most RA suffers have ups and downs. When their immune system is working better they feel better when it is not they feel worse. There is a lot of research being done to understand these cycles. When that is understood better then the disease will be easier to manage.
