Question
Do you have any insight into a condition refered to as Cervicalgia ( neck pain ) ? My husband suffers from a bizzare form of infectious arthritis and we have just stumbled upon this possible diagnosis for his upper back/neck pain/headaches. While Im happy that we may have figured out a name for his condition, Im still seeking any and all info. By the way, its very funny that my younger brothers name is Rusty Ford!!!

                    Thanks for any info

Answer
Kitty,

I am sorry to hear about your husbands condition. Unfortunately cervicalgia is not a diagnosis. Cervicalgia simply means neck pain and it does not mean any more than that. Cervicalgia is the name of a symptom and not given as a diagnosis for any condition what so ever.

I hope I have not popped your bubble. Having years of health problems myself I know how important it is to have a solid diagnosis.

What is being done to treat your husbands infectious arthritis. Infectious arthritis in the upper spine and or cervical area can cause the symptoms you described.

I wish your husband improved health.

Rusty
