QuestionDo you have any insight into a condition refered to as Cervicalgia ( neck pain ) ? My husband suffers from a bizzare form of infectious arthritis and we have just stumbled upon this possible diagnosis for his upper back/neck pain/headaches. While Im happy that we may have figured out a name for his condition, Im still seeking any and all info. By the way, its very funny that my younger brothers name is Rusty Ford!!!
Thanks for any info
AnswerKitty,
I am sorry to hear about your husbands condition. Unfortunately cervicalgia is not a diagnosis. Cervicalgia simply means neck pain and it does not mean any more than that. Cervicalgia is the name of a symptom and not given as a diagnosis for any condition what so ever.
I hope I have not popped your bubble. Having years of health problems myself I know how important it is to have a solid diagnosis.
What is being done to treat your husbands infectious arthritis. Infectious arthritis in the upper spine and or cervical area can cause the symptoms you described.
I wish your husband improved health.
Rusty
