Questioni hurt all the time. iwas tested for rheumatoid arthritis and was told i didnot have it but my count was high for lupus was told i had lupus then told it was in remission but i still hurt now ther talking about knee replacement am totaly confussed
AnswerDear Deborah, Lupus can go into remission of a sorts, but it will never leave your body and the body can have flare-ups...
Knee replacement is usually only done on people with Osteoarthritis and unless you have been diagnosed with OA, or the doctors are lying to you about your Lupus, I can see why you are confussed....
Before you have anything done, you need to find out WHY they want to do the knee replacement, have another ANA blood test and the other Lupus blood work done again and get some answers....
thank you, karen
