Question
my husband has just come out of hospital after having a opperation on both knees. he went in to have some metal work removed. the diagnosis is post traumatic osteo arthritis of the left knee despite cruciate ligament reconstructions. the diagnosis of the right knee is patellofemoral arthritis clinically. he is 42 years of age and they have said that he needs a knee replacement but he is far to young and will have to wait many years for this to happen. he is in so much pain and has been off work for two years, it hurts me to see him suffer so much is there anything i can do. please help me as i dont think he can take much more, he has had so many knock backs and has been passed from one surgeon to another.

Answer
Whoa. Sounds exactly like me. You need to get that knee replacement done. I was 18 years old when they told me I needed to get an ankle replacement ASAP. Yea that is still very young but he already has arthritis right? So what you need to do is get that surgery done. It will make him feel 100 times better. I promise.
