QuestionThe joint in my left big toe occasionally becomes red and swells up, becomes stiff and painful. I have been tested for gout but it was negative. The episodes last for several days. They respond to anti inflamatories. Is it arthritis? Are there a dietary supplements that can help?
AnswerPeter,
There are two supplements that I have found very helpful.
The first is Cetyl Myristoleate. It is a form of ceytlized fatty acid. I have use it for years.
The other is omega 3 fatty acids.
Here are links about both.
