Question
QUESTION: Which would be less likely to cause a flare-up/negative response...soy yogurt or regular yogurt/kefir?  Dr. prescribed probiotics taken with one of the following.
Thanks.  Also, have you heard of Acia juice?(sp?)

ANSWER: Patrice,

Before I can answer the question, I need to know what health condition you are talking about. Many conditions can have things that cause flare-ups or negative responses. Each has it own set of triggers.

QUESTION: This was prescribed to help with a hiatial hernia.  The person has Arthritis too...takes Humera, etc.

Answer
Patrice,

Either would be fine. Neither should trigger a negative response with the arthritis or with the Humera. Also at health food stores you can get probiotic supplements. These can be very effective at bringing the digestive system into balance. I take these from time to time because I can not stand the taste of yogurt.

I personally am not impressed with Acai juice. It is high in antioxidants. The rest of the claims are unsubstantiated and many of them are bogus.
