QuestionIn response to your frozen shoulder question, I, too, suffer to the same degree as your questioner. And I may add I have NEVER had a shoulder injury (age 50 and active). I have religiously attended Phys. Therapy, taken steroidal medication, reduced intake of dairy products and caffiene, and even started swimming again. And, I still have constant pain and can't get a full night's sleep for over five months. My orthopedic is referring me to a rheumatologist, but what can I expect from a rehumatologist that I'm not already doing?
Please respond.
AnswerPaulita,
A Rheumatologist will do various tests to see if you have an autoimmune condition causing the problem with your shoulder.
Here is a link that will show you some of the test that the Rheumatologist will most likely run.

What he or she will do after the tests will depend upon what may or may not show up in the tests.
