High level of Creatine Kinase

Question
I just received a copy of my 24 hour urine test and it shows my creatine kinse, total, serum level at 270.  I have scleroderma (limited), and have a lot of muscle pain recently.  My doctor originally had this test run to check my calcium levels, but I saw this and don't know what it means.  I still have 2 weeks for my visit but I'm reading things that are scaring me so I would like to find out what this could mean.  My aldolase was 4.5 which is normal.

Answer
CK/CPK is checked in scleroderma when there's a complaint of muscle weakness and could indicate muscle inflammation.  If you haven't reported the recent extra muscle pain to your doc, make sure you do so that s/he has a full picture when assessing your results.
