QuestionMy wife woke this morning with extreme pain in right arm. Pain is
concentrated from elbow to shoulder. Says she feels it in the bone. Extends
to and and chest in front. Gives her a little pressure on breathing, making
her sigh now and then. No numbness or antsy feeling. No fever. She is 48
years old and exercises regularly. This is first time she's felt this here, but
has had similar problems with leg bone on same right side between knee
and hip joint, but it went away with Voltaren and never came back. Feels
whole arm extenuated and completely weak. Suffers from colitis ulcerosa and
her fingers swell on both hands, for which she takes Salofalc. Her pulse is 88
and steady taken after she took 2 Voltaren Dolo, 12,5 mgs. Thank you.
AnswerEugene,
This does not sound like any form of arthritis. There are several things that can cause this. The best thing to do is to get her to a doctor. There are some serious things such as problems with the heart or lungs that can cause serious pain in the right arm. There are some simple things that can cause this as well. But it is best to find out the cause.
