knee & hip discomfort

Question
doctor took xrays and said i have arthritis in knees. it more a soreness on the left outside just below the knee.  When i walk and place my hand on the side of my left hip i feel something pop each time but it is not painful.  I like to walk for exercise, but then my legs are sore the next day. If I dont walk for 20-30min day, after a day or two my legs feel ok.  I was wondering if the hip popping is causing me to walk funny and then causing discomfort in leg. I have been taking glucosamine, chondroitin, mgm for 6 months but see no difference.  Should I keep on walking, give it a rest for a few weeks, go to physical therapy for appropriate exercise.  Any suggestions would be helpful

Answer
Hi Caol,

Most people don't take the correct dosage for GS with MSM, you need to take 3000mg/day. This is the researched dose shown to effectively stop and even reverse OA. Also, getting therapeutic ultrasound 3x/week is very helpful since it forces blood supply in the avascular tissues. Read my profile for a better understanding of OA, also, read past questions regarding OA. I basically state what has been proven to be effective.
Keep doing what you are doing, the clicking in your hip is degenerative joint disease and the only known cure for this is GS.

Hope this helps,
