Question
Would you say that after spending over twenty years in the navy could be the direct cause of this in both of my knees.  Also will it spread to other areas as time goes on.

I honestly can't answser that question in full.  It could be that you have the beginnings of arthrits, which comes with age, no matter what your job is.

Arthritis can spread.  The best thing you can do for yourself is to see an othopedist and get a diagnosis of what exactly you have in your bones.  Then the doctor can figure out the best way to get you out of pain and figure out a prognosis.
