I RECENTLY HAD AN MRI I NEED THE RESULTS IN PLAIN ENGLISH---IMPRESSION: THERE IS EDEMA WITHING THE EXTENSOR DIGITORUM LONGUS AND FIBULARIS BREVIS MUSCLES. CLINICAL CORRELATION FOR ACUTE INJURY IS SUGGESTED. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS MEANS.

I wish I could help, but this is not my forte.  But it does seem to suggest that you had a recent injury to the thigh possibly and there is swelling in the muscle tissue.  

It's just a guess.  I wish I could have been of more help.  Why not just ask your doctor?
