QuestionHello, I had an arthroscopic knee surgery on Febuary 22 on both of my knees. My right knee is great but I am still experiencing sever pain on my left and I cant weight bear , bend to 90 degrees or even straighten it. It is swollen to 3 times the size of the right knee. I've had it aspirated of blood 4 times in a week and a half, and just hours later, the blood returns and it is swollen again. I am wondering what can be done for me? Do I keep just getting it drained or is there something else they can do? I am 22 years old, and I cant even go to school or do anything. I am in severe pain and I can't take it anymore.Whats your opinion?
AnswerIf you over legal age, you need to get a second opinion. If you are under 18, ask your parents to get you to another doctor since you are not doing well with the one you have.
I am not a doctor, so I can't say for sure what's going on. My expertise is in hip replacements so this question is really out of my scope of knowledege, but if I were you, I'd find another doctor.
Best of luck to you.
