We have found out when our daughter was 11 months old has a problem with her hips and toes she is now 13 months old she is not walking as yet but does bum shuffle with her legs in very funny postions we are due to go and see the surgen next month can suggest any questions l can ask him  thank you            k . mcculloch

I'm not sure what bum shuffling is.  Never heard of it.
Make sure you get her the the best pediatric doctor available.  Then when you speak with him, and get her the diagnostic tests, take the results to another doctor for a second opinion.

Unless I know what's wrong with her, I really cant suggest much other than asking what the prognosis is, what the recovery would be, what is the least invasive way to take care of this problem.  

Also, speak with other patients of this doctor.  They won't give you phone numbers but as that your number be given to other patients who might want to speak with you if their child has the same problem.
