Helo, could you please tell me if a ganglion cyst behind the knee can still be surgically removed after arthritis has set in? Please respond.

This question is way beyond my expertise.  You should be speaking with a orthopedic surgeon.  Be sure and get a second opinion before you let anyone operate on you, and be sure, if you need surgery, that the surgeon you choose, has done the procedure many times.  Ask to speak with past patients of the surgeon as well.
