Questionnot sure if this is your field but i am 23 pretty healthy, for the last few days when i put weight down on my left had it gets a tingle sensation in my thumb and few fingersm i havent hurt myself at all kinda has that feel when you hit your funny bone but in my hand, any ideas?
AnswerThe median nerve provides sensation to the thumb, pointer and middle finger. Tingling in these fingers can be an indication of compression on that nerve. This can occur at different locations including the carpal tunnel at the wrist (carpal tunnel syndrome), the shoulder/thoracic outlet and/or the neck.
