QuestionHi Sharon,
About 2 nights ago, when I came home after coming back from a party. My side job is being a DJ at events and that night I was hired as a DJ and during the event I was sitting down most of the time, but I may have been standing for no more than 1 hour total. When I went back home after the party, when I went up the stairs, my right knee popped after every step I took on the right leg. The pop was just like the pop you hear when you pop your fingers. I have absolutely no pain, but ever since it started, every time I go up stairs I still hear this pop. I never remember ever having a problem like this. I am only 18, so I do not think it is anything serious, but perhaps you could explain to me why this is happening.
Thank you so much!
I really appreciate it!!!!
David
AnswerHi David
Unfortunately my expertise is in the area of hips. But my rule of thumb is that if something is not right, if something feels wrong, get it checked out. I suggest that you go to your primary doctor. It sounds to me as if you may have a problem with a ligament, but it's really best to get it checked out.
Good luck.
Sharon
