Question
After THR I now have nerve damage in the left leg from the knee to the ankles.  Should I talk to my lawyer about this.

Answer
It depends on your relationship with your doctor and if the good things from the operation have outweighed the the bad things of the operation.  I have nerve damage in my knee due to a very difficult hip replacement surgery and it has never entered my mind to sue anyone.  No amount of money won could put back the nerves and essentially I am leading a normal life, so my thoughts are that suing would get me nowhere.

I would be blacklisted from doctors who I know are the best in my area and did nothing to harm me and only wanted to do good for me.  

If you feel differently, than you must follow the path you feel is best for you.
