Ms. Sharon: I have been in the retail business for over 23 years, and recently had to have a revision (after 13 1/2 years of the THR which loosened about 2 years previous and was told it was Tranchantric Bursitis). My question is: Will I be able to go back to that type of work again either full or part time because everything I am reading is saying that I can not do any hard labor nor bending 90 degree angle. Please advise me. Thank you very much. Val

Unfortunately cases differ and as far as going back to what you were doing, only your doctor can answer that.  I can address what I was told though, for my case.   I was told I can never bend over a 90 degree angle and I would assume that you will be told the same thing, but you never can be sure.

Hard labor is dangerous but again, ask your doctor.
