my partner has broke his heel..docs are sayin 12 days bed rest in hospital till they can operate is this true the consultant has even looked at the ct scan pictures...hows long should my partner be left without bein seen

HI Joanne,

It is impossible to say without knowing the extent of the fracture. A simple march fracture doesn't need surgery and heals in 6 weeks. A medial comminuted tibial split fracture takes a year. I need to know specifics.
