I had a min evasive thr at 47yrs old, january of 2006 went back to the surgeon with pain in the groin area near the front incesion he made, fells like a sore tendon in that area, he took xrays and said the implant looks fine and that i many have to live with the pain, I went back to physical therapy and work on strengthening the legs to seel if this would help. the therapist tried deep tissue message thinking it was scare tissue, no help with the pain, she though something may have been cut a tendon or something else. It has gotten worse ,I am having trouble climbiing stairs sneezing sends a sharp pian to the groin area. Any thought as to where I can go from here. thanks for your help

I am sorry but I am not familiar enough with the mini evasive THR to answer your question.

The one thing that bothers me is that your doctor told you that you have to learn to live with the pain.  For me, that is not an acceptable answer.  If you doctor cannot give you a more definitive answer, I would look at finding another doctor with more experience.  You might also want to investigate pain management clinics, but first look for another doctor to consult on your case.  See if you can find a teaching hospital in your area and find out who heads up the orthopedic area and request a referral from them.

I wish I could be of more help, but I just don't feel I am familiar enough with the type of THR that you had to answer you.
