Dear Sharon,  You answered a cry for help for the same problem I have back in september 2007 to Renee,  I have been to 3 doctors, had x rays, doppler, Pt with no help. I am desperate for help so I can sleep without darvon, ice packs, Advil.  Please let me know if you ever had a follow=up or know anything else about severe knee pain that keeps me up all night with pain.  Thankyou.

I'm sorry, we never did a follow up on that one.  I truly feel badly for you.  

You might want to ask your doctor for a sleep study.  That is where you go into a lab overnight and they track your sleep patterns and find out why you don't sleep.  If there are other things preventing you from sleeping they will be able to see what those conditions are and then address them.

As far as your knees are concerned, my expertise is not in that area. I'm sorry.
