QuestionDr.Davis I am still having pain,thigh, knee and cramping in my calf-right leg,I had a THR on 4-10-06 and had post op pain so bad my dr couldn't understand.I went back to work in 4 months I'm a welder I do a lot of bending stooping climbing on the iron lifting I can barely walk around walmart without getting cramps in my leg and I start to limp stairs are out of the question I have to stop every second flight,it's even hard for me to put my pants on I can't lift my leg I drop my pants to the floor to put them on.Please tell what is going on thanks Bob

It sounds to me as if you may have some nerve damage since your initial surgery was so hard.
The physical activity you do now, at your job, can also be a big contributing factor to your pain. You need to discuss this with your surgeon and if you are not getting satisfaction from him you should go for a second opinion.
