QuestionI keep injuring my arms. I can't get a doctor to correctly diagnose this problem.
I will give you details about what I experience and see if you know what's happening to my arm/shoulder area and possible treatment suggestions.
Any type of movement my shoulder/arm makes rotating upwards or downwards or on the vertical can produce an injury that will contract my arm backwards kind of contorting it towards my body. It reminds me of hold a rubber band then pulling it taught then releasing it, it crumples backwards against itself.
What do you think this can be?
(I see military doctors or physicians assistants for my regular care.)
AnswerMelody,
I'm not sure I understand, if you could take photos or something or look at shoulder range of motion positions to describe where or what positions..Is it hurting or just a sensation? ie Range of motion of shoulder: forward flexion, external, internal rotation, ABduction,ADDuction etc..
It sounds like you might need physical therapy to tighten up rotator cuff muscles?
