Hi,
I have had a minor fracture in my hip!  I had two screws put in 8 weeks ago!  I am now having pain  down my thigh and mu butt area!  Could have the screws hit a nerve and thats why I am still having pain?

Hello Suzie

My thinking is that you have not completely healed yet, and you may not be walking correctly and that can be causing your pain.  If your gait is off, the muscles do not work correctly and can cause pain.

Give it one more month.  If it does not get better, call your doctor and ask for a follow up visit to ensure that the screws are in place and you are healing and walking correctly.
