i was playign football and was tackled from behind. I heard a crack and was in average pain. The knee is a tiny bit swolen and the pain increases and decreases . I walk with a limp. The first time i tore my acl i heard a pop and the painw as sever for about 1 minute. It is different this time but i still think i re tore it

Luke,  Of course the only way to confirm that is to have it checked out by the ortho doctor. If you do not see noticeable improvement get it checked as soon as you can.

You can also tell if the ACL was torn by feeling how unstable the knee becomes. If the ACL was torn completely it will feel unstable.

get it looked at as soon as you can to put to rest whether or not it was torn or strained etc...
