i was in a car wreck about 10 weeks ago,and lately my wrist has been really hurting.The last two days it has really been bothering me,and all day yesterday it hurt really bad like someone was sticking me with a needle.This morning 3/05/2009 i woke up to a swollen knot on my hand just before my wrist bone.The day of the accident I went to the hospital and had X-rays done on my wrist,but the doctor said he didn't see anything.My question is can the swellen be caused by the wreck?

Well it could be. There are times when x-rays are done and when they are read something may have not been picked up by the doctor on the film, or the picture itself was not the best quality.

I feel if it was something serious it would have started giving you problems before 3/5.

Try some ice and heat on the wrist at first, if it continues or you do not see some improvement go to an orthopedic doctor in your area and have another x-ray taken and get a second opinion to be on the safe side.
