Answer
This Chicago, South Loop & Elmhurst Orthopedic Podiatrist of AnklenfootCenters.com says.......

Dear Victor

You really should go back to the doctor who did the surgery and tell him/her of the problem. The doctor needs to be empathetic to your pain and if they can't give you an answer, then they are required to give you a referral. Do not be shy and remind the doctor it is you you has the pain.
That said, the lift should be across the whole shoe and be appropriate to the pathology.
If the difference is 2 inches-then the lift may need to be 1.5 inches.
A simple test you can do at home is stand on books on the short leg, without shoes, in front the  mirror in 1/4 inch increments-See if it helps and at what height- one inch, one and a quarter, etc.
That test may give you some additional information.
You may also have back problems that have just emerged.
Seek a second and third opinion if needed
Hope This Helps!
and
Good Luck!
