Question
Hello,

I have a pea size lump behind the back of my knee. It's only my left leg on the inside close to where all the tendons are I think. It doesn't hurt, however I was worried it may be something like a blood clot. There's no other symptoms I can think of. Walking normal, no pain in leg. Thank you

Answer
These Chicago Podiatrists, Elmhurst Podiatrists & South Loop Orthopedic Podiatrists say.......

Dear Amy,
These lumps usually are associated with the tendon-known as a fibroma or a lipoma- both non-malignant.
Usually you are unable to feel a blot clot. If you feel it is growing-have it looked at
Hope This Helps!
