Question
I have had this burning feeling behind my left shoulder blade, it runs the length of the blade on the outer edge closer to the spine. It's been 2 weeks, I have taken asprin, alieve, Tylenol, Stopain roll-on (which agitated it), also the icy hot patches, nothing has eased or taken away the pain. I have no prior back injuries don't lift anything over 50lbs. I woke up one day and there the pains was, I dont know what caused it or how to relieve it, please help.

These Chicago Podiatrists, Elmhurst Podiatrists & South Loop Orthopedic Podiatrists say.......

Dear  Jeremy,
For your shoulder pain. You have aggravated the muscle or nerve that goes to that area.
Try icing the area for a few days, max dose of Alleve and total rest.
A muscle spasm should start to feel better by week three.
If still in pain-see a an MD pain specialist.
Hope This Helps!
