QuestionI noticed a soreness in my left shoulder 2 nights ago -- I haven't done any strenuous excercising or activities. I woke up yesterday and the left side of my hand was numb. It starts with my pinky finger and goes up to the side of my hand where the wrist stops. Any ideas?
Thank you!
AnswerHi,
Any time you have numbness that is travelling, it needs to be checked out by a physician. There are many circulatory, muscular and neurological things that can cause this. I'd advise you take extra good care to have good posture (to keep everything in good alignment) and make an appointment with your doctor for an evaluation. Make note of when the numbness occurs exactly, what makes it worse and what makes it better (positions, activities, time of day,etc)...that will help your doctor diagnose the condition.
Best wishes!
