From time to time special people come into your life for reasons that only time can reveal. This is the case with the Mendez family, a beautiful couple who received care following a Chiropractic orientation I delivered in their church in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Miriam and Louis are still very much in love after 34 years of marriage. They believe wholeheartedly in God and have devoted their lives to giving, loving and serving those who have been placed in their lives.

The couple approached me for the first time after my orientation and kindly asked if I would be willing to take a look at Miriam to see if I could help her.

Subsequently they arrived at Life First Chiropractic Fort Lauderdale and it was at that time Miriam’s story began to unfold. Miriam had suffered with serious health issues for most of her 53 years. She had become accustomed to living a life that was challenged by constant and debilitating pain. She had been diagnosed with many conditions which were being treated with dangerous drugs. Miriam was living this way for so long that she had become resigned to a life there was no hope for.

Up to this point Miriam was unaware that her body was designed to express 100% Life and was innately able to heal itself. For the first time in a long time Miriam was hopeful. I call Miriam the �Miracle Lady� because following her first upper cervical adjustment her life was immediately different. �Something had changed� she told me, �I feel free for the first time in my life, I feel free!�

Miriam immediately was able to experience life in a whole new way. Her life had changed forever, she was no longer a slave to her infirmities her shackles were broken. Within 3 weeks she brought me a large zip lock bag of medication that she was no longer taking as a result of being free from nerve interference.

Soon after that Miriam revealed to me that she had been living a lifetime in fear. Her doctors told her parents that she would not live past the age of 17 years old. Even though she was long beyond 17 years old Miriam Mendez carried this fear her entire life.

During the birth procedure Miriam’s mother was subject to, it turned out that she was severely injured during the extraction. Yes, she was with force taken from her mother’s womb. Miriam was a �forceps baby� and in this procedure her neck had been critically damaged. In fact the damage was so great that the doctors thought she was dead! While saving her mother’s life her father came over to see his �dead� child, but Miriam was still alive. Miraculously Miriam was saved, but destined to live the next 53 years less than whole. She spent her first year and a half of life in the hospital.
