Hormonal Issues and Joint Pain
9/23 9:16:45
Joint pain is generally the result of injuries which have not healed quite right or strain, but many women who are going through menopause or have difficult moon cycles may also find that they suffer from joint pain. Women with hormone deficiencies may also find that they feel achy and drained a lot of the time. Hormonal issues and joint pain can be solved, though generally it will only be a temporary fix since the joint pain itself tends to be more or less temporary.

Joint pain in women is sometimes caused by a fluctuation in estrogen, usually when it dips below a certain point. This is why women who are premenopausal are more subject to joint pain; their estrogen levels are lowered. Since estrogen is an anti-inflammatory, the loss of it leads to damage, aching and inflammation which is the cause of joint pain in women in this case.

You should talk to your doctor if you are hitting menopause and suffering joint pain. Your doctor may be able to give you some direction as to what you can do in order to mitigate the pain and what you should avoid or add to your life in order to help ease you into menopause and beyond with minimal discomfort.

There are a few ways to deal with this joint pain. You can go for the traditional methods of dealing with joint pain such as hot packs, massages, and painkillers. You can also use more unconventional methods such as acupuncture and herbal methods. In menopausal women, taking an estrogen supplement can also help you deal with the joint pain since the estrogen is an anti-inflammatory and will make your joints feel better.

Hormonal issues can cause joint pain, especially when it is caused alongside a dip in estrogen in women. In most cases, taking an estrogen supplement helps to weather this dip until your body settles back down again, though you may also need to make changes to your diet and do more exercising and other things to help your joints recuperate and your body get back to normal faster. It is perfectly normal to suffer through joint pain in menopause and you can learn how to deal with it with the help of your doctor and some work.
