Joint Pain Remedy

Joint pain is the sensation of discomfort, inflammation, soreness, achiness, or stiffness in a joint or joints of the body. Joints are defined as the spaces or areas where two or more bones meet. Joint pain is a symptom of different types of mild to serious diseases, disorders and conditions. It can result from infection, trauma, malignancy, autoimmune diseases, and other abnormal processes.

The word Arthralgia is thus used only when the condition is non-inflammatory and it is commonly called as "arthritis" when inflammatory. Joint pain has many causes depending on the condition of the patient. The causes are both diagnosed whether non-inflammatory or inflammatory or whether it was caused by infection or vaccinations.

These causes are the following: Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory joint pain disorder that affects many tissues and organs. It is also known as rheumatic fever. Most women are afflicted by this illness more often than men and are most frequent between the ages 40 and 50 but people of any age can also be affected. This typically manifests with signs of inflammation with the affected joints being swollen, warm, painful and stiff.

Traumatic conditions including ligament sprains, joint separation, contusions, sports injuries and dislocations can also lead to joint pain while other traumatic injuries that can cause it include tennis elbow, swimmer's shoulder, torn cartilage torn ligaments and sprained ankle. Chronic degenerative conditions that include osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis also known to be an autoimmune disorder also cause joint pain. Infectious diseases and conditions can cause joint pain too which include septic arthritis and rheumatic fever.

Although these drugs as mentioned may be very helpful in treating symptoms due to the possible unwanted side effects of it. More and more people are seeking other safer and possible more effective means of natural alternatives such as glucosamine, chondroitin, turmeric, SAMe, MSM and fish oil to treat their painful symptoms.

These are only few illnesses that cause joint pain. Other causes of joint pain can be: 1. Fracture or broken bone. It's a break in or cartilage and is usually the result of trauma. It can also be caused by an acquired bone disease such as osteoporosis. 2. Sprain is an injury caused by trauma or accident. It's when the ligaments are stretched or has a tear causing pain to the joints and bones. 3. Tendinitis which can occur as a result of an injury. It's an inflammation of a tendon such as tendons around the shoulder or elbow. 4. Cartilages tear as a result from injury or trauma. It's when the firm, rubbery tissue that protects bones at joints has a tear causing inflammation to the muscles and bones.

Treatment for such illnesses, diseases and injuries causing joint pain depends on the diagnosis and the patient's case. Basic or first aid treatment can be applied for minor cases, however, severe illnesses or injuries causing joint pain can lead to surgery. It's best to consult a doctor on treating complex joint pain or complicated conditions.
