Wrong exercises affect the core of your back
Another major back pain causes is wrong exercises. While you might choose a certain set of exercises to keep fit or be active, it is crucial that you select the right kind of exercises to ensure that there is no harm to your body, or in this case the back. When you exercise, the core of your back, side, pelvic, and buttock muscles all work together, along with your abs, to allow you to bend, twist, rotate, and stand upright. The wrong exercise will impact this core of your back, thereby causing pain.
Sleep posture
Your sleep posture can drastically affect your spine. This is because it places pressure on joints and muscles. In addition to this, you will be sleeping for at least 6 to 7 hours straight, thereby making your muscles and bones in your back sore. Also, even the strength and firmness of the mattress will affect your back.
Chain smoking
Smoking will not only affect your heart and lungs, it will also affect your back. The nicotine in a cigarette restricts blood flow to vertebrae and disks, so they may age and break down more quickly. It can also affect the body's ability to absorb and use calcium which in turn will lead to osteoporosis-related bone and back problems.
Stress
When you undergo stress for a prolonged period, it will affect the back. This is due to the fact that the body reacts with the stress by releasing certain hormones or chemicals, especially cortisol. This in turn, can affect the muscles in the back and shoulders.
