Facts and Tips about Kyphosis
9/29 9:27:37
There are two kinds of kyphosis: postural and structural.
Scheuermann's disease affects children. It's when the front of the spine doesn't grow as fast as the back of the spine.
Sometimes, spine fractures cause a kyphotic curve.
If the kyphosis is caused by a structural problem, you may have to wear a brace to help correct it.
If the curve is greater than 70º, your doctor may recommend surgery.
