Another is eating more fruits rich in alkaline content like banana, lemon and pineapple, these types of fruits helps in normalizing chemical imbalance which is one cause of the occurrence of arthritis in joints of the body. Freshly squeezed extracts from these fruits are also good to drink because it is absorbed quickly by the body which softens acids enveloped in the joints so it can be easily removed. Sugars and food rich in carbohydrates must also be avoided because of the high acid content which can only lead to acid imbalance. Consuming alkaline water is also helpful in cleansing the body of toxins which further helps in curing arthritis.

As you progress in the alkaline arthritis diet, reduced weight may be apparent and cleaner and arthritis free joints are also achieved.
