You can do some stretching, walking and low-impact exercises everyday. Remember that you need strong muscles to support your joints. Tai chi, yoga and even ballroom dancing are activities that you can enjoy without putting too much strain on your joints. Some people also enjoy swimming or water aerobics. However, make sure that the water is lukewarm. Find a hot spring where you can laze around and do some swimming.
Do Some Household Chores
Another way to help ease the pain is by doing household activities, such as mowing the lawn and gardening. While you are watching the television, don't just sit on the couch, instead you can march in place or do some vacuuming. Remember the more you let your joints become inactive, the more painful they will become when you have to move.
Eat Away Your Pain
There are lots of foods that can ease inflammation of the joints. So you really do not have to pop some pain medications every time you feel the aches.
