Rheumatoid arthritis is caused by the irritation of the white blood cells in the synovium, a membrane around the joints, protecting the bones from hitting or touching one another. Researches are still being done to further study the causes of rheumatoid arthritis.

This is why a healthy living and diet are advised to those who suffer from this illness especially those who are overweight. Some recommended diet involve giving patients only hot vegetable soups with less mixture of spices and warm water for two days to remove the toxins inside the body. Yoga is a form of exercise generally recommended for those who are suffering from arthritis.
