This preparation has very high calcium content. Calcium is responsible for our strong bones & also keeps our teeth healthy so this dish can provide some help for our healthy bones.
Cinnamon has potential to lower the bad cholesterol & is also useful for people suffering from the diabetes. Cinnamon has also been recommended for yeast infections. It is a rich source of anti clotting effects. It is a good reliever from arthritis pain. It is able to increase the memory functions. Cinnamon is an outstanding source of calcium, fiber iron etc.
Ingredients:
1. Milk (low fat)- 3 cup
2. Brown sugar (light)- 2 tbsp
3. Egg yolks- 2 (large size)
4. Vanilla bean (divide in lengthwise half)- 1
5. Cinnamon stick- 6 (split in small pieces)
6. Marshmallow cream- 2 cup
7. Corn syrup- ¼ cup
8. Ground cinnamon- ¼ tsp
9. Cornstarch- 2 tbsp
Direction:
• Take a large sized saucepan & add the brown sugar along with the milk, vanilla bean & cinnamon sticks.
• Now place on medium heat & stir continuously till the sugar gets melted thoroughly.
• Take it off from the heat & cover the top & keep it aside for almost 20-30 minutes.
• Filter the mixture & remove the vanilla bean & cinnamon sticks.
• In another bowl beat together corn syrup, egg yolk, ground cinnamon & cornstarch.
• Gently pour the milk & beat it again.
• Now put it on medium heat & stir continuously till get the desired thickness (for almost 4-5 minutes).
• Now pour the mixture into the bowl & put a piece of plastic wrap or wax paper directly on the surface to resist the formation of the skin.
• Wait for a few minutes & place the covered bowl in the refrigerator (till you get the cool touch).
• Remove from the freezer & pour the marshmallow cream & start whisking till you get the smooth texture.
• Again place it in the refrigerator till you get the chilled look.
• Now transfer the mixture in an ice cream maker canister & follow the direction to get the set & chilled desert.
