�Benjarong� is a term specified to bone china and porcelains which are hand painted in country of Thailand. Selection of products obtainable in the Benjarong line includes tableware in bone china, vases, lamp bases, candlesticks, covered pots as well as little boxes that are in porcelain.

The roots of Benjarong are way back in the Ming Dynasty in the country of China during year 1368-1644. Tradition claims that 600 years back, a princess of China was wedded to a Siam (Thailand) Royal Family and she carried with her Benjarong porcelain.
During that time it is accepted that Benjarong porcelain are just created solely for the China Emperor. From then on Benjarong items were transported from China going to the King of Thailand for many generations. Then Benjarong constantly was manufactured in small groups of artists having skills that they acquired from older generation. During this time, Benjarong was generated and restricted for Siam Royal family used. Sellers used patters that are of Chinese origins that is traced back during Ming Dynasty. The ancient patterns are unstructured or free-form such as the designs of Vine Flowers ("Dok-mai-Khod") as well as the Butterfly. Most of the Thailand patterns were invented during King Rama II’s rule during the year 1809-1824. However, more designs were innovated during the succeeding hundred years.
